The Science Behind Our Process

Although it looks easy, the magic you'll witness in our results comes from our unique cleaning techniques. First our technician will thoroughly examine the areas to be cleaned for stains that require special attention. Once any stains have been manually treated, we apply a mild non-toxic detergent to the first portion of carpet to be cleaned. If necessary, we will apply a boosting agent to help breakdown deep soiling in the fibers.

We use our modern, high power portable extractor to conveniently produce up to 200 CFM of vacuum power at the point of cleaning. Our electronic heat booster raises the temperature of the cleaning solution up to 200* Fahrenheit at the cleaning head. We use our state of the art powerwand, its counter-rotating heads spinning at 250 rpms, applying up to 1500 cleaning passes per minute in every direction.

The multi-directional nature of our cleaning head allows the solution to be injected deep into the carpet fibers from all directions, while simultaneously agitating the fibers to restore the natural softness and plush look. The powerful cyclonic vacuum force at the point of cleaning reaches deep into the fibers and pad to remove unseen dirt, germs, bacteria, and contaminants. Because the agitation is accomplished simply by the vacuum and centrifugal forces of injecting the cleaning solution, there are no brushes to wear out or damage the delicate fibers of the finest carpets.

With a conventional cleaning wand, the operator is forced to support much of the weight of the wand, and clean in a bent-over position using both arms. This encourages the operator to move quickly over the areas to be cleaned to avoid fatigue. Our powerwand works much differently, and its nature is to encourage a slower, steady pace across the areas to be cleaned, which permits meticulous attention to the area being cleaned without the back breaking fatigue caused by conventional cleaning processes

Finally, we use an All Fibers Rinse cleansing product. The safe, organic acid in All Fiber Rinse neutralizes alkalinity & removes detergent residues, leaving fibers clean and soft and returning the Ph balance to normal. Our Fiber Rinse stage also helps to stabilize dyes and inhibits browning and color bleeding. The high temperatures used during the cleaning process allows for any remaining moisture to evaporate more quickly, leaving your carpets cleaner, drier, and looking their best.
